Exploring a Bit of the Abstract

Bartlett with the Abstract, 5"x7" Oil on Linen Panel
Sold
The wonderful thing about having a little extra time to paint is that I get to just "play" with paint. I painted a few panels with abstract shapes just exploring colors and textures and keeping in mind that they would serve as part of the composition for realistic paintings. I hope to have a few more for my next post.
Hooray for summer!
