Lemons and Paper Whites

Lemons and Bottle ,    Oil on 6 "x6"   Linen Panel SOLD If you haven't yet heard the popular Oklahoma saying "If you don't like the weather, just wait 15 minutes," let me tell you, it is true! A couple of weeks ago were enjoying a day of almost 60 degrees Fahrenheit, when within hours it began to freeze! Having been taking advantage of our surprising warm weather I left my windows opened in my sun-room and forgot to close them all night, making it an unhappy spot for my little lemon tree. Fearing that I would loose the two tiny lemons I've been babying, I mustard up some courage to finally pick them. The painting above is them and I don't what I am more proud of: the painting of the lemons, or the fact that they came from my little lemon tree.
