Into Groups

As part of the Edmond Art Association, I've participated in my first juried art show. It has been fun. I had the honor of showing work with some experienced and very talented artists. Still, I really don't know how, but I received Honorable Mention. How cool is that?! You can see the work of about 30 artists throughout Oklahoma at the Edmond Metropolitan Library the entire month of June. Olives Still Life , 4"x6" Oil on Linen Panel SOLD I got these beautiful, and tasty, olives from Forward Foods in Oklahoma City. They have the most wonderful yummies. Thank you Andrea for letting me know about them. Between breaks from painting, I've been making jewelry. This group of earrings and the enamel pieces below are some that I've been working on for A Jeweler's Art in Paseo. It was thrilling to start my torch again. Even the smell of the kiln running made my heart tingle a bit. Enameling is a blast, but the cutting and soldering metal kept me up the night...
