Pearl and Coral, I Oil on Canvas 6"x8" $98
Pearl and Coral, I detail
This was a blast to paint. I really like the color combinations. I had made a similar necklace for a customer, and she pointed out how it would go with everything, because whatever she wore would reflect on the pearl. It pearl is a large potato pearl in a very light cream, almost white surface, but it looked more pink on her because of the blouse she was wearing. I thought it would be perfect for my study of reflective materials.

With great excitement, I will go through my beads and see what else I can paint. I can't wait to show you what I find.

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say thank you so much for visiting my blog and following it. I am so glad because it allowed me to discover your blog -- and I LOVE your work. Your paintings, your jewelry -- just exquisite! I feel you are a kindred spirit. :)
I love the jewelry but also the shadows - that is hard for me to do and you do it so effortlessly, or at least I imagine you do. Very nice!
