Ginger Jar and Tazettas,   Oil on 4 "x6"   Linen Panel SOLD I was thrilled to see my tiny fig trees showing signs of spring with their lovely little, ruffled leaves. My roses are also showing off their red and green leaves, along with the lily of the valleys, which I've waiting anxiously to paint. However, Madam Winter is not yet done with us. It will be freezing tomorrow-very rare for Oklahoma at the time of the year. Maybe this means that it will make us love those hot summer days even more. I hope that where ever you are, the weather is fabulous!

I love, love, love beautiful, romantic movies allow me to imagine that I could be transported to their time. Berthe Morisot and Manet by Caroline Champetier  is such a movie. It's been on my list of "wants" that I keep for my husband for a long while, but he seemed to have a hard time finding it as it was a made-for-TV French movie.            Well, not too long ago, I was surprised with it and I've watched it several times since. It is in French with no subtitles, so I can make guesses as to what they are saying. It's helped that I've read a great deal on both artists and that the movie is gorgeous, so I can't take my eyes off of it to get clues.
